Our 230mm 1m duct is a straight one metre length of single skin flue pipe in stainless steel. It carries smoke from the fireplace or braai up to the cowl, and you join lengths together to get the height your installation needs.
230mm 1m Duct Single Skin Features
Stainless steel handles the heat of a working fire and does not rust easily, which counts in Cape Town’s damp winters and salty coastal air. As a single skin flue it is non-insulated, so it suits the room section of a flue where some radiant heat is welcome, and runs where the right clearances from timber and ceilings are kept.

What it fits

When should I use an insulated stainless steel flue pipe instead?
Where the flue passes through a ceiling, roof space or close to timber, an insulated section is safer. Single skin is best for the exposed section inside the room.
