Description
A flue is only as good as the seal around it. The SM Flat Roof Flashing is a silicone flue flashing that closes the gap where the pipe leaves your roof, so winter rain stays outside. It takes flues from 160 to 220mm and has a square base of 365mm x 365mm.
SM Flat Roof Flashing in Silicone
Silicone is a heat-tolerant synthetic rubber. It stays flexible, grips the pipe tightly and does not break down under strong sun, which matters on an exposed Cape Town roof. Our team uses this type of silicone roof flashing in the flue kits we install.

Where to use it

Fitting note
Trim the cone to just under the flue size so it grips firmly, slide it down the pipe, then seal and fix the base to the roof. If you are not sure, our flue installation team can fit it as part of a full flue job.

Is this the same as chimney flashing?
It does the same job for a flue pipe. Classic chimney flashing seals brickwork, while this boot seals a round flue through a flat roof. Ask us if you need help choosing.
