SM Round Roof Flashing (Silicone) Details
Silicone is a synthetic rubber that stays flexible and does not break down in strong sun, so this silicone flashing keeps sealing year after year on an exposed roof. The cone is stepped, so you trim it to the size of your pipe for a snug fit.

Where to use it
This round roof flashing suits flat roofs, including concrete and metal roofs, with a flue of up to 160mm. It can be used on insulated (twin wall) flues and on non-insulated flues. For pitched tile or IBR roofs with a steep angle, a slope flashing with a larger base is usually the better choice. Fitting note
We include silicone flashing in our own flue kits because it gives reliable waterproofing. For the best result, the base should be bedded with a roof sealant and screwed down evenly. Our team fits flashings as part of every flue installation in Cape Town.
Is it the same as round chimney flashing?
Yes, buyers often call it round chimney flashing or a flue boot. It does the same job: it closes the hole around a round flue pipe so water cannot run down into the ceiling.
