Description
An 80mm 90 degree elbow lets a small flue turn a full right angle, for example where it leaves the back of an appliance and needs to turn upward, or where it must clear a beam or wall. It is made from stainless steel and sized to join 80mm flue pipe.
80mm 90 Degree Elbow Uses and Fit
Small 80mm flues are found on compact heating appliances. Always check the flue outlet size on your appliance before ordering, since the elbow must match the pipe exactly for a sealed, safe joint. An 80mm elbow will not fit a larger flue pipe, and adapters add extra joints that can leak, so getting the size right first saves time and money.

Fitting note
Every flue elbow slows the draw a little, so keep bends to a minimum and use the shortest practical horizontal run. Joints should be secured and sealed, and the flue kept clear of timber and combustible ceilings. You can find matching pipe and other flue elbows in our range, or browse all flues and accessories. If you would rather leave it to a professional, our flue installation team in Cape Town can plan and fit the full run.
80mm Flue Elbow FAQs
Can I use two 80mm bends in one flue?
You can, but each 80mm bend adds resistance and can weaken the draw. We usually plan a layout with as few bends as possible and check that the total flue height still gives a strong pull.
