Description
The 250mm bell cowl end piece is the final section on top of a 250mm double skin flue. Its bell shape lets smoke escape freely while stopping rain, leaves and nesting birds from dropping straight down the pipe, which protects your fireplace and helps keep the draw steady.
250mm Bell Cowl End Piece Details

- Material: stainless steel

Which flues does it fit?
It fits the top of a 250mm insulated double skin flue system, a size often used on large built-in fireplaces. If you are not sure of your size, check the markings on your flue sections or send us a photo. See all our bell cowl options for insulated flues and our other cowls.
Fitting note
A cowl only works well when it sits at the right height above the roof line, away from walls and trees that cause turbulence. Our team fits it as part of our chimney cowl installation service, with the flue sealed and secured.
Is a bell cowl enough for a windy site?
On most roofs, yes. On very exposed sites that take the full south-easter, a 250mm cowl with an anti-downdraught design can work better. We look at your roof before we recommend one.
