Description

Pitched roofs are where flues leak most, because water runs down the slope straight into any gap. The SM Slope Roof Flashing solves that with a wide, soft base that follows the shape of your roof and a stepped silicone cone that hugs the flue pipe. It is one of the parts we trust on our own installations.

SM Slope Roof Flashing (Silicone) Details

Silicone is a synthetic rubber that stays soft and does not crack or crumble in the sun. That makes this silicone roof flashing a long-term seal on a north-facing Cape roof that bakes all summer and takes heavy rain in winter.

Specifications

  • Flue size: 75 to 200mm
  • Base: 505mm x 609mm

Where to use it

Use it on slope roofs, including tile, concrete and metal roofs, with a flue of up to 200mm. It works with insulated twin wall flues and with non-insulated flues. If you search for a 200mm flashing for a sloped roof, this is the size to look at. For flat roofs, choose one of the round or flat flashings in our roof flashing range, or see all flues and accessories.

Fitting note

Trim the cone just below the pipe size so it grips firmly, then form the base to the roof profile and seal and fix it down. We fit this silicone flue flashing as part of our flue kits. Our flue installation service in Cape Town takes care of the whole roof exit.

Will it fit a corrugated or tiled roof?

Yes. The soft base can be shaped over corrugations and tile profiles. On deep tile profiles we may add a lead or aluminium apron for extra protection.
