The Cleanburn burner drops into any non-flammable plinth or counter, and because it is flueless there is no chimney to build. It suits covered, wind-free indoor spaces in homes, restaurants and hotels.

Flame without a chimney
As a flueless gas fireplace, the burner needs no flue pipe or chimney, which frees you to place it where a wood fire could never go. The room must have proper ventilation, and it is not suitable for bedrooms or bathrooms.
Cleaner burning and safer use
SAFire’s CleanBurn Technology keeps emissions low, and the Flame Failure Device shuts off the gas if the flame goes out. You can adjust the flame height to suit the mood, from a soft glow to a fuller fire.
Made to measure
Choose a centre finish of black lava rock, a wood log set or white crushed river rock. Manual and automatic burners are both available. If none of the standard lengths fit your design, SAFire can build a special length, though custom orders take longer to make. It is manufactured in South Africa.

Installation in Cape Town

Can the SAFire burner go outdoors?
It is made for covered, wind-free areas with ventilation. An open patio exposed to wind is not suitable, because a steady flame needs still air. We check your spot before we quote.
Can I order a custom length?
Yes. Special lengths can be made if the standard sizes do not fit your design. Allow extra time, as custom burners are built to order.
