Description
Big flues need a big seal. The XXL slope roof flashing is made for wide flues and braai chimneys from 300mm up to 450mm passing through a pitched roof. It is moulded from silicone rubber, which stays soft, handles high heat and does not crack in the sun.

Where to use it
This silicone flue flashing is the right choice for large braai flues and wide fireplace flues where the pipe surface runs hot. The high temp silicone roof flashing grips the pipe, while the wide base is shaped to the roof sheeting or tiles and sealed. See other sizes in our roof flashing range or the full flues and accessories section.
Fitting by our team
On a big flue, small errors let a lot of water in, and the damage often shows up as a ceiling stain weeks later. Our team cuts the cone to size, shapes the base to your roof profile and seals it so it holds through Cape winter storms. See our flue installation in Cape Town service.
Silicone Roof Flashing FAQs
Why choose silicone over EPDM?
Silicone handles much higher heat, up to 225°C continuous, so it is safer on single-skin flues and braai chimneys that get very hot. EPDM is suited to cooler insulated flues.
