Because it is flue-less, there is no roof penetration, no cowl and no chimney stack. That opens up spots that are hard for a wood fireplace, such as inner walls, flats and double-storey homes where a flue would have to run through an upstairs room.

Is the Slim Line 1400 right for your home?
As a rough guide, a gas fireplace of 11kW+ is suited to very large rooms, open-plan living areas or spaces with high ceilings, often 100 m2 or more. Flueless units also need normal ventilation and a room that is not too small.
