Is the 051 Traditional right for your home?
Sentinel lists a heating area of 172 m2, which covers a large lounge, an open-plan living and dining area or a double volume room. In a small room it will be too much heat, so choose a smaller model there. Is 12kW too much for my lounge?
For a room under about 70 m2, it usually is. The 051 is best in large or open-plan spaces of well over 100 m2. Send us your floor plan and we will advise.
Can the Sentinel fireplace connect to my existing chimney?
Often yes, using the rear flue outlet and a liner. We inspect the chimney first to make sure it is sound and draws well.
