The SAFire Carloforno firepit gives you a real flame at the turn of a knob, with no wood to carry and no smoke in your guests’ eyes. Its wide, bowl-shaped concrete body holds a high ribbon of fire in the centre, and the simple shape works on a modern patio, a farmhouse stoep or a restaurant terrace.

Gas heat with built-in safety
Cape Town evenings can turn windy fast. If a gust puts the flame out, the thermocouple valve shuts off the gas on its own, so there is no unburnt gas left leaking. It ships with its own regulator and a hose fitted with a safety valve.
Made for outdoor living
The burner is 304 stainless steel, so it stands up to sun, rain and sea air. The bowl measures about 120 x 50 cm and is approved for brick and stone paving as well as concrete and wooden decks, provided the surface is level. It can also be used in a covered area with good ventilation.
Finish it your way
Pick a concrete finish in Charcoal, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Natural or White Sandstone, or Light or Dark Terracotta. Dress the centre with lava rock in red or black, or with crushed white pebbles. You can choose a manual or remote control model, and a wood version is also available.
Is the Carloforno right for your outdoor space?

Can I use the Carloforno with a loose gas bottle?
It is designed for a fixed LP gas line rather than a bottle on the floor. A fixed line is safer, neater and needs a certificate of conformity, which our installer issues on completion.
Is there a warranty on the Carloforno?
Yes. SAFire gives a 1-year limited warranty on the moving parts, such as the gas valve, controls and pilot. Rust is not covered, so a cover in winter is a good idea.
