Description
A white fireplace changes the feel of a room, and the Hydrofire Rubin Lux in Ivory White does it with style. The steel body pairs a black frameless glass door with ivory side panels, so the stove looks light and modern instead of heavy. Behind the looks is a capable 11kW heater with a big firebox and a steady, efficient burn.
Hydrofire Rubin Lux Ivory White Features
A white freestanding fireplace that stands out
Ivory panels suit white walls, pale timber and Scandi or coastal decor. If you prefer something bolder, the Rubin Lux range also comes in Ruby Red and Black.
A large combustion chamber
The firebox measures 57cm wide, 30.5cm deep and 40cm high. It takes long logs, so you can build a big fire that lasts for hours without constant topping up.
Efficient steel construction
Steel heats up quickly, so the room warms soon after lighting. At 75% efficiency the stove is light on fuel, and as an SIA 2022 Ecodesign Ready model it burns wood more completely, which cuts fine particle emissions.
Output, size and flue
Nominal output is 11kW, with a range of 7 to 15kW. The stove measures 44 x 69 x 85 cm, weighs 136 kg and connects to a 142.5 mm top flue.
Is the Rubin Lux right for your home?
Hydrofire rates this steel wood fireplace for 65m² to 135m², which covers a medium to large lounge or an open plan living area. For a smaller room, look at the other freestanding fireplaces we stock. Our guide to proven Hydrofire fireplace models compares it with its siblings.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and installs the stove with the right flue, a cowl that copes with Cape wind and sealed flashing for winter rain, and we take care of compliance. See our fireplace installation in Cape Town page or browse the full Hydrofire range.
Hydrofire Rubin Lux FAQs
Does the white finish on the Rubin Lux get dirty?
The ivory panels sit on the sides, away from the door, so ash rarely reaches them. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth once the stove is cold to keep them looking fresh.
What warranty does the Rubin Lux have?
Hydrofire backs its steel fireplaces with a two-year limited warranty. Our team keeps a record of your installation, which helps if you ever need to claim.
