Few stoves are as easy to recognise as the Petit Godin. This small round fireplace has been made by Godin in France since 1840, and its enamelled cast iron body and decorative castings still turn heads today. With a 5kW output it brings real heat to the smaller rooms in your home.

Classic round design
The round body and ornate detail give it a charm that flat modern boxes cannot match. It looks right in an older Cape cottage, a farmhouse kitchen or a modern room that needs a touch of character.
Multifuel flexibility
It burns wood and anthracite (coal). Anthracite gives a long, steady burn, while wood gives that familiar crackle and flame. Having both options helps when good firewood is scarce in winter.
Cleaner, longer burns
A secondary combustion system burns off more of the gases from the fire. That means more heat from each load, a cleaner glass door and less smoke from the flue.
Cast iron warmth
Made almost entirely from enamelled cast iron, the stove heats up steadily and keeps radiating warmth after the flames die down.
Is the Petit Godin 5kW right for your room?

Yes. It is a multifuel stove that burns wood and anthracite. Anthracite gives a slow, even burn, which is handy overnight.
