Description
The Petit Godin Small Oval is a French cast iron classic, with a rounded body and decorative detailing that has hardly changed since Godin first produced the design in the 1800s. It is a 7kW multifuel stove that burns wood or coal, and its slim oval shape fits corners and smaller rooms where a square stove would feel crowded.

Enamelled cast iron for steady warmth
Almost all of the body is enamelled cast iron, which heats up evenly and keeps releasing warmth after the flames die down. You get a comfortable room for longer from each load of fuel.
Secondary combustion
A secondary air supply burns off gases that would otherwise go up the flue. That means more heat from every load, less smoke outside and a glass door that stays clearer between cleans.
Wood or coal
As a multifuel stove it takes dry hardwood or anthracite. Coal gives a long, even burn on very cold nights, while wood gives a livelier flame to watch.
