Heavy cast iron for steady warmth
At 138 kg, the Brio is mostly solid cast iron. Once it is up to temperature it keeps giving off gentle heat long after the flames settle. You get a more even room temperature and fewer trips to the wood pile on a cold Cape evening.
Output you can turn up or down
The nominal output is 7kW, with a working range from 5 to 9kW. Run it low on a mild autumn night, or open it up when a winter front rolls in. As a 7kW freestanding fireplace it sits in the sweet spot for most family lounges.
A raised design that fits the room
The foot pedestal gives the stove a light, lifted look that suits modern and classic interiors alike. It measures 85.3 x 53.2 x 115 cm and takes a 150 mm flue from the top, so the pipe runs straight up for a neat finish.

What does the foot pedestal add to the Brio fireplace?
The pedestal lifts the firebox off the floor, so the fire sits at a better viewing height from the couch and loading logs is easier on your back. It also gives the stove a lighter look than a box sitting flat on the hearth.
Can the Invicta Brio heat an open plan home?
It is sized for about 50 m², so it works best in a defined lounge. For a large open plan area we would usually suggest a higher output model. Send us your floor size and ceiling height and we will advise.
