A fire that hangs on the wall and shows its flames on three sides. The Hydrofire W9 Titan Side Glass is a cast iron wall mounted fireplace with 14kW nominal output, adjustable from 9kW to 18kW. It brings serious heat to a large modern lounge, while the raised position and wide glass make it the focal point of the room.

Side glass: the key difference
We also stock the standard Hydrofire W9 Titan Wall Mounted, which has glass on the front only. The side glass version adds glass panels on both sides, so the flames are visible from the dining table, the kitchen or the passage, not only from the couch straight ahead. If your fireplace will sit in an open-plan space or near a corner, the side glass model gives a much wider view.
All cast iron for lasting warmth
The Titan is fully cast iron. It holds heat and keeps radiating it after the fire burns down, so the room stays warm for longer. Efficiency is rated at 76%, a big step up from an open hearth.
Wall mounted for a clean floor
Because the titan wall fireplace is fixed to the wall, the floor underneath stays open. Sweeping and mopping are easy, and the room feels less cluttered. The firebox takes long logs, which means less chopping.
Size, weight and flue
The unit measures 83 x 47 x 77 cm and weighs 155 kg, so the wall and fixings must be checked properly. It uses a 180 mm flue from the top. Hydrofire states CE certification and a five-year warranty.

What is the difference between the W9 Titan and the Side Glass model?
Both are cast iron wall mounted units, each a 14kW fireplace by nominal output. The side glass model adds glass panels to the left and right, so you can see the fire from the sides as well as the front.
Can any wall hold a wall mounted fireplace?
No. At 155 kg the wall must be solid masonry in good condition. We inspect the wall and flue route on site before we confirm the installation.
