The Hydrofire Lumina is a compact cast iron wood stove that gets a lot of heat from a small load of wood. It is rated at 6kW with 81% efficiency, so more of every log ends up warming your room. The tall, slim body and large glass door give a modern look that suits a lounge, study or snug.

Cast iron that keeps warming
The body is premium cast iron, which takes in heat as the fire burns and gives it back slowly. The room stays comfortable even after the fire has burned down, and the cast iron grate stands up to high heat year after year.
Efficient and clean burning
Air control at the rear feeds the fire for a more complete burn. That means low carbon monoxide, NOx and particulate emissions, less smoke from your chimney and less wood used across a winter.
A clear view of the flames
The large glass door has an air wash system that sweeps air across the inside of the glass. Burn dry wood and the glass stays clear, so you can enjoy the fire without cleaning soot every few days.
Flexible flue options
The Lumina has a 125 mm flue outlet at the top or the rear. A rear exit is handy when you want to go straight through a wall, and the top exit suits a classic flue through the ceiling. It measures 46 x 37 x 85 cm and weighs about 108 kg.

It is rated at 81% efficiency, which is high for a wood stove. In practice that means less wood for the same warmth and a cleaner burn, with low emissions from the flue. Dry, seasoned wood helps you get the most from it.
Can the Lumina be fitted with a rear flue?
Yes. It has both top and rear 125 mm outlets, so we can run the flue up through the ceiling or out through the back wall, depending on your room. We choose the best route at the site visit.
