Small rooms deserve a well-matched fire, and the Hydrofire Cube-W is a compact, square-cut steel wood fireplace for smaller living spaces, townhouses and cottages. With a 6kW nominal output that can run from 4kW to 8kW, it keeps a lounge cosy without turning it into a sauna, and its plain, boxy look fits in with modern furniture.

Efficient heat from less wood
Rated at 80% efficiency, the Cube-W turns most of the wood you load into heat for the room. That means fewer logs per night and a cleaner burn than an open fire, which matters when good firewood is not cheap.
A modern steel fireplace with a calm look
The steel body has a clean, understated shape with no fuss. It measures 48 x 56 x 86 cm and weighs 110 kg, so it sits neatly on a standard hearth and does not overpower a small room.
Flexible flue routing
The 150 mm flue can leave from the top or the rear. A top exit is the usual choice when the flue goes straight up through the ceiling. A rear exit helps when the stove stands against an outside wall or when roof timbers are in the way.
Is the Cube-W right for your home?

For most average lounges, yes. Hydrofire rates the Cube-W for 40 m² to 70 m². Rooms with high ceilings, lots of glass or open stairwells may need more, so share your room details and we will advise.
What is the difference between the Cube-W and the Cube L-W?
