Clean lines and a low profile are what set the Hydrofire Cube apart. The Cube L-W is a 6.1kW freestanding wood fireplace with a square, modern body that stands just 66 cm high. It suits homes where a tall stove would block a window or feel too heavy in the room, but where you still want a proper wood fire.
Hydrofire Cube L-W Features
80% efficiency
Most of the heat from each log ends up in your room rather than going up the flue. For you that means fewer trips to the woodpile and lower fuel costs over a season. A cleaner burn also leaves less soot in the flue.
Low and compact
At 48 x 56 x 66 cm, the Cube fireplace has a small footprint and a low height. It sits comfortably under a window, in a corner or in front of an old chimney opening. At 92 kg it is solid and stable on the hearth.
Top or rear flue
The 150 mm flue can leave from the top or the back. Top exit is the usual route through ceiling and roof. Rear exit helps when you want to connect into an existing chimney behind the unit.

Is a 6.1kW fireplace enough for my lounge?
For most lounges, yes. Hydrofire rates the Cube for about 40 to 80 m2. If your lounge opens onto a kitchen and passage, or has very high ceilings, we may suggest a bigger unit. Send us the size and we will advise.
Can the Cube fit into an old fireplace opening?
Often, yes. Its 66 cm height and rear flue option help it sit in front of or inside a wide opening, connected to the chimney. We check the size and condition of the chimney on site first.
