Description
Square, solid and French made, the Godin Cube brings a design piece into small and medium rooms. It sits on decorative legs, has a wide glass door and takes logs up to 55 centimetres long, so you spend less time splitting wood. With a 6.5kW output, it gives a cosy heat rather than an overwhelming one.
Godin Cube Cast Iron Fireplace Features
Cast iron warmth
The cast iron body weighs 107 kg and keeps radiating heat after the fire burns down. That gives a gentle, even warmth through the evening.
Cleaner burn, clearer glass
Secondary combustion burns off more of the smoke, and a clean glass air flow helps keep the window clear. A manual air control sets the burn rate, and an ash pan makes cleaning out simple.
Easy to service
The baffle plate lifts out, so the flue can be swept through the stove. A rear convection panel allows the Cube to stand closer to the wall than many stoves.
Wide shape, low height
It measures 41.1 x 65 x 65.7 cm and connects to a 150 mm flue, which is why it handles longer logs than most stoves of this output.
Is the Godin Cube right for your home?
Godin pitches the Cube at smaller spaces such as a bedroom, office or snug. As a rough guide, a 6.5kW wood fireplace suits a room of about 40 to 70 m² with a normal ceiling. See more freestanding fireplaces, or read our Godin range guide for SA homes.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and installs the Cube with a 150 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing that stand up to Cape wind and rain. Learn about our fireplace installation in Cape Town or the full Godin fireplace collection.
Godin Cube FAQs
Where is the Godin Cube made?
It is made in France and imported from Guise. Godin gives a five year limited guarantee on the body and one year on specific internal parts.
Is a cube fireplace too small for a lounge?
Not for a compact lounge. In a large open-plan room it will struggle, so pick a bigger unit there. We help you match the output to your space.
