Small flues still need protection from the weather. Our 80mm bell cowl end piece works as a stainless steel flue cap. It sits on the top of an 80mm single skin flue and shields the opening from rain while the bell shape lets gases out freely.

Where an 80mm cowl is used
An 80mm pipe is a small size, so this cowl suits small appliances where the flue runs outside or in open space rather than through a ceiling. Getting the fit right
The cowl slides onto the last length of pipe. Check the diameter carefully, as an 80mm small flue cowl will not fit a larger pipe. Our team can supply it on its own or include it in a full cowl installation with flashing that stands up to Cape winter rain.
Is a single skin flue cap safe through a ceiling?
No. Single skin pipe gets very hot, so where it passes through a ceiling or roof timbers you need an insulated section or the correct clearances. We check this before fitting.
