Description
Our 300mm elbow 45 degree bend lets a large flue step sideways when a straight run is not possible. It is a stainless steel flue elbow, sized at 300mm, used mainly on big braai flues and large fireplace or chimney runs where the pipe has to dodge a beam, a truss or a gutter line.
300mm Elbow 45 Degree Uses
- Offset a flue around roof timbers or a ceiling beam
- Line up the flue with the best exit point on the roof
- Pair two bends to create a neat sideways step in the run
A 45 degree stainless steel elbow is gentler than a 90 degree bend, so smoke keeps moving and the draw stays strong. Keep the number of bends low, as each one adds resistance.

Flue Elbow FAQs
Is this a plumbing elbow pipe?
No. It is a flue fitting for smoke from braais and fireplaces, made to handle heat. Do not use it for water or gas lines.
Can I fit it myself?
You can, but a badly sealed joint lets smoke into the roof space. Our team fits elbows with the right overlap, brackets and clearance from timber, so the run stays safe and dry.
