Description
The 180mm Elbow lets your flue change direction by 90 degrees. It is a stainless steel flue elbow made for 180 mm flue pipe, used where the flue has to leave a fireplace from the rear or pass around a beam before heading up.
180mm Elbow 90 Degree Bend Uses
A 90 degree bend is most often used with rear-exit fireplaces, braai canopies and boiler style setups where the pipe must turn from horizontal to vertical. Stainless steel handles high flue temperatures and does not rust easily in coastal air.
- Diameter: 180mm

Fitting notes
Keep 90 degree bends to a minimum, as every sharp turn slows the draw. Where possible, use two 45 degree bends instead, and include a cleaning access point. Our team checks the full flue route before installation. See our flue installation in Cape Town service, or browse all flue elbows and other flues and accessories.
Does a 90 degree flue pipe elbow affect the draw?
Yes, slightly. Each sharp bend adds resistance, so a flue with a 90 degree elbow usually needs enough vertical height above it to pull well. We size the run so your fire still draws cleanly.
Not sure which bend you need? Message us your flue size and layout and we will match the right parts.
