Part heater, part sculpture, the Earthfire White Small is a ceramic fireplace with a high gloss orchid white glaze. Each pot is made to order by hand in South Africa, so small marks and colour shifts are part of its character. The clean white finish works in almost any room, from a stark modern lounge to a Victorian sitting room.

Clay that stores heat
The specially formulated clay soaks up heat while the fire burns, then keeps radiating warmth for up to two hours after the flames go out. A metal stove cools quickly by comparison. The clay is made to resist cracking from uneven heat and thermal shock, and it will not rust, smoke or smell.
Simple to run
It burns about three to four logs every 45 to 60 minutes and works best with dry, seasoned wood or charcoal. Upkeep is easy: brush out the fine ash about once a month.
Compact and light
The small pot measures 45 x 45 x 61 cm and weighs about 50 kg, so it suits a smaller lounge, a bedroom or a covered patio. It comes with a sealing kit. The stand and other accessories are sold separately.
Decoration options
The pot comes plain, or you can pre-order an African Mask or Japanese Medallion decoration in the same finish.

Will a ceramic fireplace crack?
Earthfire uses a clay made to handle the uneven heat of a hot fire and sudden temperature changes. Burn dry wood, build the fire up gradually when the pot is cold, and it will serve you well.
