Description
Small lounges and studies need heat too, and the Euro Verso 3 is built for exactly those rooms. It is a closed combustion wood fireplace with a steel body, a vermiculite lined firebox and a German Schott glass door. At only 32.5 cm deep, it sits close to the wall and leaves more of your floor free.
Euro Verso 3 Fireplace Features
Slim depth, wide view
The Verso 3 measures 44.5 cm wide, 32.5 cm deep and 74.5 cm high. The shallow body suits narrow hearths and smaller rooms, while the wide door still gives you a good look at the flames.
Steel and vermiculite
The steel shell warms up quickly, so the room feels the heat soon after lighting. Inside, vermiculite panels reflect heat back into the fire for a cleaner, more complete burn. You get more warmth from each log and less soot.
Controlled, safer heat
The sealed Schott glass door keeps sparks and smoke inside and lets you control the burn rate. Compared with an open fire, a closed unit like this burns up to a third less wood for the same heat, which saves money and trips to the woodpile.
Easy to install
At 47 kg, it does not need a reinforced floor in most homes, and the 150 mm flue exits from the top for a straight, simple run through the ceiling.
Is the Euro Verso 3 right for your home?
Rated at 5 to 9kW for rooms of 40 to 55 m², the Verso 3 is a good match for a lounge, study, flat or bedroom with a standard ceiling. Bigger open-plan spaces need more output, so take a look at our freestanding fireplaces or the wider fireplace range if your room is larger.
Installation in Cape Town
We supply the Verso 3 and install it with a 150 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing that stand up to Cape wind and winter rain, and we handle compliance. Read about our fireplace installation in Cape Town or browse our Euro Fireplaces Cape Town range, where every Euro fireplace we stock is listed.
Verso 3 FAQs
Is the Verso 3 good for a small lounge?
Yes. That is where it shines. Its 5 to 9kW output suits rooms of 40 to 55 m², and the shallow depth keeps it from crowding the space. In a very small room you simply run it on a lower burn.
Why choose a Verso fire over an open fireplace?
A closed Verso fire uses up to a third less wood for the same heat, keeps sparks behind glass and lets you set how fast it burns. Open fires lose much of their heat up the chimney.
Which wood works best?
Dry, seasoned hardwood gives steady heat and keeps the Schott glass clean. Avoid treated timber and damp wood, which smoke and blacken the glass.
