15kW of heat
As a 15kw wood fireplace, the Vega puts out enough warmth for a very large room. It is a sensible pick for double-volume lounges, farmhouses and homes with lots of glass where a smaller stove would fall short.
Burns wood or charcoal
You can run the Vega on wood or charcoal. Charcoal gives a hot, even bed of coals, while wood gives the bigger flame picture most people love.
Wide, generous body
The Vega measures 50.3 x 93 x 77 cm. The wide front gives a broad view of the fire and room to load decent-sized logs.
200 mm flue
A large 200 mm flue helps a high-output fire draw cleanly. We size the full run, including the cowl, so smoke goes up and out, not back into the room.

Is a Jetmaster fireplace good for a large open-plan home?
The Vega is built for exactly that. Its 15kW output and wide firebox suit big living areas. In a small, closed room it would run too hot, so we always check the size first.
Why does the Vega use a 200 mm flue?
Bigger fires make more smoke and need a larger flue to draw well. The 200 mm size keeps the draw strong and helps the glass and chimney stay cleaner.
