This version sits on a log stand, lifting the fire to a more comfortable viewing height and giving you a handy spot to keep dry wood. Behind the elegant shape is a 10kW heater with 85% efficiency, built to handle a large lounge through a Cape winter.
Sentinel Ottawa Curve Features
Clean burning with tertiary air
A chrome pull lever at the base controls a tertiary air vent. It draws air over the fire and re-burns the gases in the stove, which raises efficiency and cuts the fuel you use. Primary and secondary air controls let you fine-tune the burn.
Clear glass, bright fire
A pre-heated air wash flows down the glass to help keep it clean, so the large viewing window keeps showing off the flames. The firebox is lined with vermiculite firebrick, which reflects heat back into the fire.
A versatile multi fuel fireplace
Burn seasoned wood or switch to coal when you want a longer, steadier fire. Cleaning out is quick, thanks to a cast iron grate and ash pan that both lift out.
Ottawa Curve with log stand
The stand version measures 45 x 52 x 82 cm and weighs about 106 kg in cast iron and steel. It uses a 150 mm flue from the top or rear, giving our installers flexibility in placement.
