Description
Our SAfire Heeta Log Base Bevel Wood Fireplace is a statement piece for a big room. A 1200 mm wide steel fireplace sits on top of its own log store, so the heater and the wood stack become one tidy unit. Behind the clean lines is serious heat: an output of 16kW to 25kW for large lounges, open-plan spaces and high ceilings.
SAfire Heeta Log Base Bevel Wood Fireplace Features
Built-in log storage
The Heeta log base gives your firewood a dedicated home under the fire. Logs stay dry and within reach, and you do not need a separate basket on the floor. If you want a fireplace with log storage built in, it is one of the most practical layouts we sell for homes that burn a lot of wood in winter.
Modern bevel styling
The outer casing is finished with 3cr12 stainless steel fluted panels, which give the unit a sharp, architectural look. It measures 52.5 x 120 x 55 cm, so it fills a feature wall nicely without looking bulky.
Big heat, good efficiency
At 80% efficiency, most of the energy in each log becomes warmth in the room rather than smoke up the flue. The steel body heats up quickly, which is handy when you get home to a cold house. It weighs 210 kg and uses a 180 mm top flue outlet.
Is the Heeta 1200 right for your home?
Heeta rates this model to heat up to 500 m³. That is a lot of space, so it is best suited to large lounges, open-plan living areas and rooms with high ceilings. In a small room it would simply be too much heat. Send us your room size and we will check the fit, or compare it with the other units in our freestanding fireplaces range and the wider Heeta fireplace collection.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and installs the unit with the correct 180 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing to handle Cape wind and winter rain. We check floor loading for the 210 kg weight and sort out the compliance certificate. See how our fireplace installation in Cape Town works, or read our Heeta 600 NB review for a smaller option.
Heeta Log Base Bevel FAQs
Can the Heeta log base be built onto a bench?
Yes. The maker designed it to sit on a cast concrete bench, stand on its own, or fit into an existing setup. We will look at your space and suggest the layout that works best for heat and looks.
How big a room does a 25kW wood fireplace suit?
Heeta rates this unit to heat up to 500 m³, which suits very large or double-volume rooms. For an average lounge a smaller Heeta model is usually the better choice, and our team can help you compare.
Is there a warranty on the Heeta fireplace?
The maker backs it with a 5-year limited guarantee. Our team handles the installation, so you have one point of contact if anything needs attention.
