Description
A fire you can enjoy from both sides changes how an open-plan home feels. The Heeta 950 double sided Oakley wood fireplace has glass on two faces, so the lounge and dining area, or the inside and a covered patio, can share the same flames. It is part of the 2024 Heeta range, built on a log base that keeps wood stacked neatly below the firebox.
SAfire Heeta 950 Double Sided Features
Two views, one fire
As a double sided fireplace, it works as a room divider and a focal point at the same time. Place it in the middle of a large space and everyone gets a view of the fire.
Big heat for big spaces
The SAfire Heeta 950 gives 13 to 16kW with an 80% efficiency rating, so it can handle large open areas and high ceilings. More heat from each load means fewer trips to the woodpile.
Practical log base
The log base lifts the fire to a good viewing height and gives you a dry, handy place for wood. It keeps the area around the fireplace tidy.
Solid steel build
The Heeta 950 Oakley is made from steel, weighs 135 kg and measures 48 x 91 x 80.5 cm. A 150 mm flue leaves from the top, which suits a central position under a ceiling.
Is the Heeta 950 right for your home?
SAfire rates it to heat up to 450 cubic metres, which is well over 120 m2 with a normal ceiling. It suits large open-plan homes, lodges and venues. Learn more in our guide to heating two rooms with one double-sided fireplace, or compare our double-sided fireplaces.

Heeta 950 FAQs
Where should a double sided fireplace go?
It works best in the middle of an open-plan space or in a wall opening between two rooms. We check clearances on both sides and the flue route before you commit.
Does the Heeta 950 double sided heat both rooms?
Yes, it gives heat out of both faces. With 13 to 16kW it can warm two connected living areas, depending on their size, insulation and ceiling height.
