A double sided fireplace gives you a panoramic flame from both sides of the wall. It suits open-plan homes that need some separation without losing the warmth and light of the fire.
14kW at 80% efficiency
The safire heeta 700 puts out 14kW, and SAfire lists 80% efficiency. That is plenty of heat for two connected spaces, without burning through the wood pile.
Solid, controllable build
A reinforced carbon steel firebox and a 10mm carbon steel grate take years of hard use. Precise air controls let you run a hot fire or a slow, steady burn, with steel and stainless steel in the construction.
Easy upkeep
The air wash system keeps both windows clearer, and a handy ashtray makes cleaning out quick.

It has a glass face on each side, so you see the fire from both rooms. We will show you how loading and access work for your layout when we plan the install.
Is a double-sided insert harder to install?
It takes more planning than a single-sided unit, because both faces need a hearth, clearances and a neat finish. Our team designs the wall, flue and cladding as one job.
