Big flames, a tall profile and room for a stack of logs underneath: the Heeta 600 Timberbox is built for homes where the fireplace is the centre of the living area. It is one of the most powerful models in the SAfire Heeta 600 family, and the Timberbox log base gives it a solid, furniture-like presence. A standard base version is also available if you prefer a lower look.

Strong output for spacious rooms
The Timberbox produces between 10 and 13kW, which puts it firmly in the large wood fireplace class. At 80% efficiency, it extracts a good amount of warmth from each log, so a big room heats up quickly and stays comfortable through long evenings.
Steel and cast iron working together
The body combines steel and cast iron. Steel heats up fast for quick comfort, while the cast iron parts store heat and release it gently as the fire settles. At 140 kg it is a substantial unit, and it stands 94.5 cm tall with a 43 x 61.5 cm footprint.
Wood storage built in
As a log base wood fireplace, the Timberbox keeps firewood dry, tidy and within reach. You spend less time walking to the woodpile and your hearth stays neat.
Flue choice: top or rear
The 150 mm flue can exit from the top or the back. A top exit suits a straight run through the roof, while a rear exit helps when connecting to an existing chimney breast.
Is the Timberbox right for your home?
SAfire Heeta gives the heating capacity as about 320 m³. With a standard ceiling, that equals a generous open-plan living area, a double-volume lounge or a venue space. How is the Timberbox different from the standard Heeta 600?
The firebox and heating performance are the same family, but the Timberbox sits on a log base that stores wood and raises the fire. The standard base option gives a lower, simpler stand for rooms where you want less height.
Is a 13kW wood fireplace too big for my lounge?
It can be. A fire that is too large has to be run on low air, which dirties the glass. For a lounge under about 60 m2, a smaller model is usually the better buy, and we will advise honestly.
