Description
The Euro Rheia P is a good-value way to swap a cold, smoky open fire for proper controlled heat. It is a closed combustion freestanding fireplace with a steel body, a vermiculite lined firebox and a large German Schott glass door, sized for the kind of lounges most Cape Town homes have.
Euro Rheia P Fireplace Features
More heat from less wood
A closed combustion fireplace controls the air going into the fire, so wood burns slowly and evenly. Compared with an open fire, the Rheia P can use up to a third less wood for the same warmth, which adds up over a long winter.
A clear, safe view of the flames
The sealed glass door keeps sparks and smoke in the firebox and gives you a wide view of the fire. Schott glass handles high heat well and is easy to clean.
Small footprint
At 45 x 39 x 76 cm and 68 kg, the Rheia P fits on a modest hearth and does not dominate the room. It connects to a 150 mm flue at the top, which is the standard size for most home installs.
Is the Rheia P fireplace right for your home?
Our specs rate it for 60 to 100 m2. That covers most medium lounges, TV rooms and smaller open-plan spaces. If your room is larger or has very high ceilings, compare our other freestanding fireplaces or the full fireplaces range.
Installation in Cape Town
If you are looking for euro fireplaces Cape Town buyers can see and have fitted locally, our team supplies the Rheia P and installs it with the right flue, cowl and roof flashing for the local wind and rain. We also take care of the compliance certificate. See our fireplace installation page, or browse more models from Euro Fires.
Euro Rheia P FAQs
What size is the Euro Rheia P?
It measures 45 x 39 x 76 cm and weighs 68 kg. Add the required clearances to walls and furniture, and we will mark out the exact space on site.
Is a closed combustion fireplace worth it over an open fire?
For most homes, yes. You use less wood, get more heat into the room and avoid the draughts an open chimney causes. It is also safer, as the fire is behind glass.
