Description
The Hydrofire Regina is for people who want to see their fire. Its tall glass window shows off the flames from across the room, and its 83% efficiency means you get strong heat from less wood. At 9kW nominal output, with a range up to 12kW, it suits a medium lounge or an open-plan space.
Hydrofire Regina Fireplace Features
A tall window on the fire
The upright body and large glass door make the fire the focal point of the room. Pre-heated air washes down the glass while it burns, which helps keep soot off and the view clear.
Two air controls, easy to run
Two external air controls set the primary and secondary combustion air. Open them to get the fire going quickly, then turn them down for a slow, steady burn through the evening. As one of the more efficient closed combustion fireplaces in the range, it rewards dry, seasoned wood.
Radiant heat across the room
The steel body radiates heat evenly, so warmth spreads through an open-plan area rather than staying in one spot. The firebox is lined with vermiculite, which helps it reach a hot, clean burn quickly.
Easy to clean
The ash pan sits out of sight behind the door and lifts out for emptying. You can also lift out the cast iron grate when it is time for a deep clean.
Compact steel build
The Regina weighs 58 kg and measures 45.4 x 40 x 85 cm, with a 130mm flue leaving from the top. It is light enough for most floors and slim enough for a smaller hearth.
