Thick cast iron for steady warmth
The Alberto is cast from a thick mould of cast iron and weighs about 140 kg. All that metal radiates heat into the room long after you add your last log, so evenings stay comfortable without constant feeding. A heavy baffle plate inside slows heat loss up the flue.
Three-stage combustion
Primary, secondary and tertiary air all play a part. The tertiary burn re-ignites gases that would otherwise go up the chimney, which means cleaner emissions and more heat from every load. The stove carries an A energy class rating and CE certification.
Clear glass, simple control
Part of the secondary air washes down the inside of the glass, helping keep the window clean. One lever controls the air, so lighting and slowing the fire is straightforward. A slide-out ash pan makes cleaning quick, and a heat glove and wood stoker come in the box.
