The ceramic body gives the Pewter Large a hand made feel that suits farmhouse, coastal and modern rooms alike. Ceramic warms through and gives off gentle, radiant heat that is pleasant to sit near.
Bigger than the Small, still light
At 52 × 52 × 68 cm it is a step up from the Pewter Small, with more room for wood and a bigger fire. Yet it weighs only 60 kg, so it can go on upper floors and timber decks where a cast iron stove would be too heavy.
Wood fired and simple
It burns normal firewood, with no gas or electrical points needed. Dry hardwood gives the cleanest flame and the most warmth.

Should I choose the Pewter Large or the Pewter Small?
Pick the Large if you want a bigger fire and have a bit more floor space. The Small suits tight corners and very compact rooms. Both share the same ceramic style.
Does a ceramic fireplace need a flue?
Yes. Like any wood fire indoors, it needs a proper flue to carry smoke out of the house. We supply and fit it as part of the installation.
