The Northern Flame Kenna 65 Ledge is made for modern homes that want a clean, low-profile fire. It is a box-shaped unit that sits on a ledge, shelf or plinth, with a large Schott Robax glass window framed by an opaque black border. The result looks built-in without the cost of a full built-in fireplace, and it puts out a strong 10kW.

Designer glass
Schott Robax ceramic glass is known for handling high heat. The black border hides the frame, so all you see is fire. The door opens from the right as standard but can be swapped to open from the left to suit your room.
Easy control
A single lever under the door sets the primary air, the secondary air and the air wash together. Secondary combustion burns off more of the gases in the smoke, so you use less wood and get cleaner glass. The handle can be removed and used as a cool handle, or fixed in place.
Holds heat longer
The firebox is lined with vermiculite and fitted with a double baffle of stainless steel and vermiculite. Together they keep heat in the chamber longer and push more of it into the room. A built-in convection box adds convected heat on top of the radiant heat through the glass.
Size and flue
The Kenna 65 measures 40 x 65 x 51.2 cm and weighs 84 kg, with a 150 mm top flue. An optional stand turns it into a tall freestanding unit if you prefer.
