Built heavy and built to work, the Northern Flame Azar is a multi fuel fireplace for homes that need serious winter heat. Part of the Ecosy+ range, it pairs a cast iron door with a thick steel body and puts out 12KW, enough for a large lounge or open-plan living area.

Thick steel, cast iron door
The top is 10mm steel and the sides are 5mm steel, far heavier than many budget stoves. That extra metal holds heat and resists warping over years of hard use, and at 110.4 kg the Azar feels solid in every way.
Clean-burn air system
A chrome pull lever at the base controls a vent that draws air over the fire to burn off gases that would otherwise go up the flue. You get more heat from each load and a cleaner chimney. The Azar is rated at 76% efficiency.
Traditional look, modern finish
The design mixes classic stove styling with a shiny chrome handle and chrome air levers, so the azar fireplace sits comfortably in older homes and modern lounges alike.
Is the Northern Flame Azar right for your home?

What fuels can the Azar burn?
It is a multi fuel fireplace, so it takes seasoned wood as well as approved smokeless fuels. Our team will explain the right air settings for each fuel at handover, so you get clean glass and a steady burn.
Is the Northern Flame Azar heavy to install?
At 110.4 kg it needs two or more people and a proper hearth plate, but it is well within what our installers handle every week. We check access, the floor and the flue route on site first.
