Description
Most stoves come in black. The Euro Modena Lux White stands out because it does not. It is a closed combustion freestanding wood fireplace with a clean white finish, a large German Schott glass door and enough output, 13-20KW, to heat a big living area.
Euro Modena Lux White Fireplace Features
A white fireplace for bright rooms
A white fireplace suits Scandinavian, coastal and minimalist interiors, where a black box can look heavy. The Modena Lux reads as a design piece in the room, and the glass door keeps the fire on show.
Steel body, firebrick lining
The steel shell heats up fast after lighting, and the firebrick lining protects the firebox and holds heat to keep the burn hot and even. With 74% efficiency, a good share of each log goes into your room rather than up the flue.
Closed combustion control
The sealed glass door lets you control the air and set the burn rate, from a lively fire on a cold evening to a slower burn later on. It is safer around children and pets than an open grate, and it uses wood far more efficiently.
Is the Modena Lux right for your home?
The rated heating area is 100 to 140 m2, so it is a strong choice for a large lounge, an open-plan living and kitchen area or a room with a high ceiling. It measures 73.5 x 39.5 x 87.5 cm, weighs 118 kg and takes a 150 mm top flue. Compare it with our other freestanding fireplaces if your space is smaller.
Installation in Cape Town

Modena Lux FAQs
Does the white finish discolour with heat?
The finish is made for a working fireplace, but like any painted stove it should be kept clean and not overfired. Wipe it when cold with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Our team will show you the basics at handover.
How big a room can the Euro Modena Lux White heat?
It is rated for about 100 to 140 m2. Open-plan spaces with good insulation sit at the top of that range, while rooms with lots of glass or draughts sit lower. We check your layout before you buy.
