Description
The Liseo Titan FS double sided fireplace is one of the biggest freestanding units in the Liseo line, and it is built for people who want a real centrepiece. Glass on two faces lets you see the fire from either side of the room, and the huge firebox takes long logs, so you spend less time cutting wood and more time enjoying the heat.
Liseo Titan FS Double Sided Features
Two views of the fire
With glass panels front and back, the L91 DF Titan FS works well in the middle of an open-plan space, between a lounge and dining area, or anywhere people gather around both sides. More glass also means more room for the family to sit close and feel the warmth.
Fully cast iron body
Every panel is cast iron, with German-made castings. Cast iron heats up evenly and keeps releasing warmth after the flames settle, which gives a steady room temperature rather than sharp peaks. At 152 kg it is a solid, long-lasting cast iron fireplace.
Room for long logs
The combustion chamber measures 77 x 30 x 51 cm inside and accepts logs up to 700mm long. Bigger loads mean longer burns and fewer trips to the woodpile on a cold night.
Output and efficiency
Nominal output is 14kW, with a range of 9 to 20kW depending on how hard you run it, and efficiency of 73%. It connects through a 180 mm top flue and measures 84 x 45 x 101 cm overall.
Is the Titan FS right for your home?
Our listing rates it for about 85 to 175 m2, so it suits a large lounge, an open-plan living area or a home with high ceilings. For a smaller room it can feel too hot. Compare it with our other freestanding fireplaces, or read what you get with a double-sided fireplace.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and installs the Titan with a 180 mm flue, cowl and flashing chosen for Cape wind and winter rain, on a hearth that meets clearance rules. See our fireplace installation service, and the rest of our Liseo fireplace range.
Titan FS FAQs
Does a double sided freestanding fireplace need more floor space?
It needs clear space and a safe hearth on both glass sides, because people will sit on both. We plan the position so walkways stay open and the flue rises straight through the ceiling.
What warranty does the Liseo Titan FS come with?
The unit carries a 5 year warranty and holds CE certification, as it is imported from Europe. Keep your installation records, as a correct install is part of any warranty claim.
