Description
The Liseo L9 Titan is the fireplace to choose when a normal stove simply will not keep up. It is one of the largest units we sell, built fully from cast iron, with a huge glass window that frames the flames like a picture on the wall. Load it with long logs, close the door and the heat spreads through the whole living area.
Liseo L9 Titan Cast Iron Fireplace Features
Serious heat output
The Titan has a nominal output of 14kW, with a range of 9 to 20kW depending on how hard you run it. That gives you the flexibility to keep a gentle fire on a mild evening or push out real heat during a Cape cold front.
Takes long logs
The firebox accepts logs of up to 700mm, so there is less cutting and splitting. Bigger logs also burn longer, which means fewer trips to the wood pile and a steadier room temperature.
Cast iron that stores heat
At about 142 kg, the solid cast iron body soaks up heat and keeps releasing it long after the flames settle. It is the main reason buyers pick a cast iron fireplace over a light steel stove.
Efficient and European made
With 76% efficiency, most of the energy in your wood ends up in the room. The Titan comes from Europe, its castings are made in Germany and it carries CE certification.
Is the Titan fireplace right for your home?
Liseo rates the Titan to heat between 85 and 175 m2, so it suits a large lounge, a double volume room or an open-plan living and dining area. It measures 83 x 43 x 77 cm and needs a 180 mm flue from the top. For smaller rooms it may be too much heat, so look at our other built-in fireplaces as well.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and installs the Titan with the 180 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing it needs, sized for Cape wind and winter rain, and we look after compliance. Find out how our fireplace installation works or browse the full Liseo range.
