The Liseo L71 LR Bavorov Side Glass adds glass panels on the sides as well, so the flames are on show from the couch, the dining table and the kitchen counter. Underneath the glass is a solid cast iron body with a nominal 12kW output and a working range of 8 to 17kW, ready for a long Cape winter.

Is side glass harder to keep clean?
Not much. Burning dry, seasoned wood with enough air keeps all the panes clearer. A quick wipe with a stove glass cleaner when the unit is cold takes care of the rest.
Can the L71 Bavorov go in a corner?
Yes, and it often looks best there because the side panels show the fire to more of the room. We check clearances to walls and furniture before we install.
What if a side panel cracks?
Glass usually cracks from impact or a door slammed on a log. We can source and fit replacement glass and rope, so the fireplace is safe to use again quickly.
