Three windows instead of one is what sets the Liseo L51 LR Nova Side Glass apart. Glass on the front and on both sides gives you a wide view of the flames, so the L51 becomes the centre of the room even from the side. Under the glass is a heavy cast iron body that holds and releases heat steadily.

Cast iron that holds heat
The body is cast iron, with the casting made in Germany, and the unit weighs 114 kg. Cast iron warms up evenly and keeps giving heat after the flames die down, which is why many buyers pick a cast iron fireplace for long winter evenings.
Side glass for a bigger view
The side panels let light and flame into more of the room. It is a good fit for an open-plan space where the fireplace is seen from the kitchen and the lounge.
External air option
The L51 can be connected to external air. It then draws combustion air from outside rather than from the room, so you do not need to keep a window open, and the room stays warmer.
Practical size
It measures 55 x 41 x 95 cm, with an internal firebox of 50 x 30 x 41 cm and a 160 mm top flue. Output is 10kW, with a range of 7 to 14kW, and efficiency is 74%.
Is the L51 right for your home?

Installation and care
Our team supplies and installs the L51 with a 160 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing suited to Cape wind and rain. The unit is imported from Europe and carries CE certification and a 5 year warranty. Over time, door rope and glass wear, and our glass and rope replacement service keeps the seal tight.

Does more glass mean less heat?
Not in a meaningful way. The cast iron body still stores and radiates heat, and the extra glass mainly changes how much of the fire you see.
Do I need external air for the Liseo fireplace?
It is optional. It helps in well sealed modern homes or rooms with extractor fans. We advise on site whether it is worth adding.
