It is the flagship Liseo Vulcan, a freestanding cast iron fireplace, with glass on both the left and right sides as well as the front, so the flames are visible from almost anywhere in the room.

The LR side glass panels turn the Vulcan into a wide window of flame. It looks impressive from the side as well as head on, and gives more room for family and friends to gather round.
Serious heating power
As a 16kW wood fireplace with a working range of 11 to 22kW, the Vulcan copes with large spaces and cold Cape fronts. Liseo rates efficiency at 76%, so the heat goes into your home, not up the flue.
A firebox for long logs
The internal chamber measures 103 x 31 x 50 cm. That is room for several big logs at once, which means fewer reloads and a long, steady burn through the evening.
Heavy cast iron construction
The unit weighs 190 kg, all cast iron with German casting and CE certification. It measures 110 x 43 x 107 cm and connects to a 180 mm flue at the top.

Does side glass get dirty faster than front glass?
Not if you burn dry wood and give the fire enough air when lighting. A cold wipe with damp newspaper and a little ash clears light marks. Heavy black build-up usually points to wet wood.
Is there a warranty on the Vulcan?
