Description
The Kratki Rollo 2 is a modern steel stove that is easy to like. Its curved glass door wraps the fire in a wide view, the firebox is lined with heat-retaining ceramics, and as a 12kW fireplace it has the power for a big lounge or open-plan home. Kratki builds its stoves for long, cold European winters, so a Cape winter is well within its range.
Kratki Rollo 2 Fireplace Features
Wide view through curved glass
The rounded door is the stand-out design detail. You see the flames from the side as well as the front, and the air-wash system sweeps air over the inside of the glass to cut down soot, so you clean it less often.
Ceramic-lined firebox
Refractory ceramics line the combustion chamber. They hold heat and push the fire temperature up, which burns wood more completely. Primary, secondary and tertiary air combine for a cleaner burn and more heat from each log.
Built heavy for long life
The Rollo 2 weighs 139 kg, with a 5mm steel top plate that adds strength. It measures 75 x 41.81 x 97.7 cm, so it has real presence in a room.
Practical touches
The perforated handle stays cool enough to open by hand, and the slide-out ash tray makes cleaning a quick job. The 150 mm flue can leave from the top or the rear, which helps when the room layout is tricky.
Is the Kratki Rollo 2 right for your home?
Kratki rates the Rollo 2 for about 220 to 315 m³ of room volume. With a normal ceiling height that is a large lounge or open-plan living area, as a rough guide. Tell us your room size and we will check the fit, or compare other freestanding fireplaces in our fireplaces range.

Kratki Rollo 2 FAQs
Does the Rollo 2 come with a warranty?
Yes. The Rollo 2 is covered by a 5-year warranty from Kratki. We register the stove and help with any warranty question after installation.
Can the flue go out the back of the Rollo 2?
Yes, it has both top and rear flue options. A rear exit works well where you want the flue to run through a wall or into an existing chimney behind the stove.
