Glass wraps around three sides of the firebox, the frame is minimal with a blackened glass edge, and the door lifts up and drops down on a smooth pulley. Built into a clad chimney breast, it gives you a wide picture of the flames and serious heat for a large living area.

Three-sided glass with a lift-up door
The three sided fireplace layout shows the flames from the front and both sides, so it suits a room divider or a corner feature wall. To load wood you simply raise the door on its pulley. During installation we set the door weight so it closes on its own, which keeps the fire sealed and burning efficiently.
Accumote lined combustion chamber
The firebox is lined with Accumote, a heat resistant material that protects the steel body, keeps the chamber hot for a cleaner burn and reflects light even when only coals are left. It also helps keep the glass clean.
Wide output range
The NBC 10 runs from 6.5 to 12kW, so you can keep a gentle fire on a mild evening or turn it up when a cold front moves in. The air controls let you set how fast it burns, so you get more heat from each log.

How does the NBC 10 door open?
The door slides upward on a counterweighted pulley, much like a sash window. We set the weight during installation so the door closes by itself. It makes loading easy and keeps the firebox sealed while the fire burns.
Is the Kratki NBC 10 Insert hard to install?
It is a heavy, built-in unit at 275 kg, so it needs a planned surround, a strong base and a 200 mm flue. That is work for an experienced installer. Our team handles the design, building and fitting from start to finish.
