The Kratki Arke 80, listed as the Kratki Arke insert 80, is an insert fireplace for people who want a clean, modern frame and a big view of the fire. Its boiler plate steel body is built into a wall or chimney breast, and a minimal frame with a blackened glass edge keeps attention on the flames. With 6 to 16kW on tap, it handles everything from a mild autumn night to a full Cape winter.

Accumote lining
The white Accumote walls inside the chamber do several jobs. They keep the firebox hot so wood burns more completely, protect the steel from warping, help the chimney draw and store heat after the fire goes out. They also bounce light around, so the chamber glows even when only coals are left, and push hot air toward the glass to help keep it clean.
Easy to run and clean
Primary and secondary air are both adjustable, and an airwash system cuts soot on the glass. A removable ash pan makes cleaning quick. The firebox takes 50 cm logs, so there is less chopping.
Optional fans
The Arke can be ordered with thermostatically controlled fans that push up to 280 m3 of warm air per hour into the room. Choose this when ordering if you want faster heat spread.

Should I order the Arke 80 with fans?
Fans help if you want heat to reach the far end of a long room or a passage quickly. Without them it still heats well by radiation and natural air flow. Our team can advise once we see the layout.
Can a fireplace insert go into my old open fireplace?
Often, yes, if the opening is big enough and the chimney is sound. We measure the opening, check the chimney and fit the 200 mm flue liner, or build a new surround if needed.
