Description
The Kratki Arke 95 Freestanding Plus is the Arke insert dressed in its own cover, so it can sit exposed on a ledge or plinth with a crisp boxed finish. Its wide glass front gives a panoramic view of the fire, and the Plus fan system moves heat out into the room, so large spaces warm up faster.
Kratki Arke 95 Freestanding Plus Features
Fans that do the heavy lifting
The Plus version has built-in fans at the base, run by a thermostat. When the fire is hot they switch on and push warm air into the room, which helps a fan assisted fireplace heat corners a radiant stove might miss. The unit needs a power point nearby for the fans.
Ceramic lining for more heat
Kratki lines the firebox with its own thick ceramics. They store heat, keep the chamber hot for a cleaner burn and shield the fans if the power goes off during load shedding.
Clean glass, easy ash
An airwash system keeps soot off the large glass, and a front slide-out ash box makes cleaning quick. Primary and secondary combustion burn the wood more fully, so less goes to waste.
Built from thick steel
Kratki builds the Arke range in Poland from heavy steel, which is why this model weighs 178 kg. It measures 102 x 48.2 x 62.4 cm and connects to a 200 mm flue at the top.
Is the Kratki Arke 95 right for your home?
As a 16.5kW wood fireplace, our listing gives a heating area of about 158 m2, so it suits large open-plan homes and big lounges. For a smaller room, a lower output Kratki will be more comfortable. Our Kratki fireplace buyer’s guide compares the range, and you can see more freestanding fireplaces here.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and fits the Arke 95 with a 200 mm flue, a cowl and flashing chosen for Cape wind and rain, and arranges the electrical point for the fans. Read about our fireplace installation in Cape Town or browse the Kratki range.
