The Wamsler Jupiter is a tall, slim wood stove that gives a lot of fire view without taking up much floor. Standing 90.4 cm high on a 40.7 x 55.7 cm base, it fits into a corner or beside a sofa where a wide stove would not. If you want honest heat for a normal Cape Town lounge and a design that looks current, the Jupiter is a sound pick.

Right-sized heat
At 6kW, the Jupiter is a 6kw wood fireplace that warms a room without turning it into a sauna. That makes it a good match for smaller homes, townhouses and well-insulated new builds.
Burns more than wood
Load it with wood, wood briquettes or brown coal briquettes. Briquettes burn longer and more evenly, which helps when you want the room still warm late at night or when good firewood is scarce.
Tall, compact steel body
The steel body heats up fast after lighting, and the upright shape keeps the hearth small. It sits neatly on a glass or tile hearth plate with a black flue rising above it.
150 mm flue
The Jupiter connects to a 150 mm flue. We plan the run through your ceiling and roof, or into an existing chimney if it is safe to use.

Dry hardwood, wood briquettes and brown coal briquettes. Avoid treated timber, painted wood and wet logs, which leave tar in the flue and blacken the glass.
