Description
The Invicta Treville brings classic French foundry work to a modest sized lounge. Invicta makes it in France from solid cast iron, and the shape is simple and timeless, with a big glass door and a flat top. If you like the look of a traditional cast iron wood stove and want it to burn cleanly, this Invicta fireplace is a good match.
Invicta Treville Cast Iron Stove Features
Cast iron that stores the heat
At 91 kg, the Treville has a lot of metal to soak up heat. Once warm, the body keeps giving off a gentle, steady warmth after the flames drop, so the room stays comfortable with fewer loads of wood.
Efficient, clean burning
Invicta rates the Treville at 77% efficiency, and it is Eco Design 2022 compliant. Post-combustion burns off more of the gases in the smoke, and the clean glass system uses air flow to help keep soot off the door.
Flexible output
The output runs from 5kW to 11kW, so you can keep a low, slow fire on a mild evening or open the air for quick heat on a cold one. In slow combustion mode it can run for hours on one load.
Is the Invicta Treville right for your home?
Our spec sheet lists a heating area of about 50 m2, which is a typical small to medium lounge with a normal ceiling. It measures 38 x 45 x 90 cm and needs a 150 mm top flue. Bigger open-plan rooms may need a larger model, so compare our freestanding fireplace range.
Installation in Cape Town
Our team supplies and fits the Treville with a 150 mm flue, cowl and roof flashing chosen for Cape wind and rain, and we sort out the compliance certificate. See our fireplace installation page or the full Invicta range.
Invicta Treville FAQs
Is there a warranty on the Treville?
Invicta offers a 5-year extended warranty when you register the stove after purchase. Our team can help you with the registration when we complete the installation.
Does the Treville fireplace burn coal?
No, it is made for wood. Dry, seasoned hardwood gives the best heat and keeps the glass cleaner. Burning coal in a wood stove can damage the grate and void the warranty.
