A side loading fireplace for safer refills
The side door lets you add logs without opening the main glass door, so ash and embers stay in the firebox instead of landing on your floor. It is a small detail that makes daily use much nicer.
Long, slow burn
On slow combustion the Sedan M can run for up to 8 hours. A bed of embers is usually left at the end, so a fresh load of wood gets it going again quickly in the morning.
Cleaner glass
Adjustable secondary air washes over the window to limit smoke and soot, and you can set it to suit the draught in your flue.
Solid cast iron
The body is cast iron, weighs 126 kg and measures 64.4 x 46.3 x 70.1 cm. It holds and releases heat evenly and connects to a 150 mm flue at the top.

What is the difference between the Invicta Sedan M and Sedan L?
The Sedan M keeps the same side loading design as the Sedan L in a smaller body, so it suits mid-sized rooms. If you have a large open-plan area, ask us about the bigger model.
How long will the Sedan M burn overnight?
Up to 8 hours on slow combustion with dry hardwood and the air turned down. Wet or soft wood burns faster and dirties the glass, so seasoned logs make a real difference.
